As an Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will engage with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to conceive and design innovative customer solutions for automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems, and other embedded edge devices.
You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment, and be able to work independently to a very high-quality standard.
You will work closely with the OS, hardware, software, QA, and customer teams to deliver solutions for our customers.
The Embedded Engineer will provide technical leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation and support of platform components that run on the customer's target operating system, hypervisor, and virtual machines.
This hands-on software development position requires broad software engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of embedded software development, as well as demonstrated experience of successfully planning, organizing, and delivery of agile software development projects.
Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
Be responsible for developing embedded software solutions for In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems, and other embedded edge devices.
Determining current limitations and compatibilities between subsystems, selection of new concepts and methodology, and development of major routines and utilities.
Maintain and improve existing software.
Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications.
Instill best practices for software development lifecycle (SDLC) and documentation, and ensure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
