Global Mile is seeking a Customer centric leader, who wants to be part of this journey, and manage a team of people responsible for daily Customs Brokerage activities.
The individual will be responsible for helping develop the operations and execution infrastructure for a rapidly growing, dynamic organization.
This person will work closely with various internal teams to establish processes and back office functions.
The individual will then be responsible for resource planning, goal setting and managing key success criteria.
This person will be responsible to manage performance, develop, train and skill resources, while managing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce Customer escalations.

Key Job
Responsibilities:
Building, leading and developing a front line team performing various Customs-related activities.
Leading a team of leaders (operations and program), creating a strong quality-driven organizational culture.
Driving standardization of operational procedures; partnering with operations and technology partners to build repeatable and predictable structures in areas of ambiguity to increase consistency and reliability of operational performance.
Delivering best-in-class quality, performance and efficiency across various processes.
Executing strategically important initiatives (planning, automation, optimization), working cross-functionally to identify key areas of opportunity.
Creating and iterating upon metrics to measure performance and identify defects and trends, working cross-functionally deliver world-class Team and Customer experience.
Hiring, coaching and developing their team to build operational and leadership skills while actively growing the future leadership pipeline.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
