What you'll do as a Visory Expert:
Deliver back-office finance services:
you'll manage a portfolio of clients, working from files that have been cleaned up for you.
You'll be responsible for managing key processes involved in the delivery of our services, including:
Bank statement processing Bank transaction processing Management of fixed assets Manual General Journal Entries (GJEs) Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Processes at month end to finalise the month including inter-entity reconciliation Financial management (VCFO services)Some key things you'll need to be aware of:
We're looking for experienced bookkeepers we can partner with for the long-term, and utilise your knowledge & experience of the US bookkeeping landscape for SMBsIf all goes well and you start working with us, we'll work with you to find the best time to communicate with your Expert Success Manager, based in New Zealand - this communication may happen outside of normal office hours to accommodate the time differenceWhat you might love about being a Visory Certified Expert:
Flexibility - we'll pair you with bookkeeping engagements that fit your skills and schedule - with Visory you have the freedom and support to control your own schedule Consistency - we focus on long-term fit when pairing you with engagements, giving you consistent work month on month Remote-first - we are a remote first team with the tools to help you thrive, and so you can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand We can't wait to hear from you if you Are located in the US Are experienced in working with clients in California and Philadelphia and have strong knowledge of state tax in either location Are deeply knowledgeable in all things bookkeeping and back office finance, from daily reconciliation to preparing complex reports Have a track record of independently managing books, preferably through your own client base or via contracting/freelancing Have your own laptop or computer that you're comfortable working from Hold a solid understanding of cloud accounting software (primarily QBO) and adjacent back-office technology with an understanding of automation - our tech stack is QBO, Gusto Payroll and either BILL or a similar software, Dext Find working remotely and using online messaging and video conferencing second nature Are looking for some extra work to utilise your extensive experience and fill up your spare time Upon receiving your application to join us, we will contact you within a week, however this may be longer at times due to the volume of applications we receive.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
