Job Description and Duties
This position is located in the California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education (CSAAVE), Title 38 Unit, in the Veterans Services Division.
Territory assignments cover Alameda, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Cruz Counties, but is at all times subject to the needs of CalVet. Training and Development assignments will not be considered for this vacancy.
May become permanent (pending budget approval) and/or may be extended to 24 months.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
