Smart Office Global Partners Business Development Director

The Lenovo Smart Office Team is seeking a Global Partners Business Development Director to join us as we transform the workplace with our innovative collaboration solutions. In this role, you will drive the global strategy and execution to develop Lenovo's partner ecosystem and go-to-market partnerships that accelerate the scale and revenue growth for the Lenovo Smart Office portfolio. The Smart Office team sits within Lenovo's Commercial Segment in the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG). This role reports directly to the Executive Director/Worldwide GM, Smart Office Business. The location for this role is flexible (major metro area).Primary Responsibilities? Cultivate and execute new partnerships which will include developing opportunities, framing new partnerships, negotiating new relationships and executing strategic deals.? Recognize, quantify and build future opportunities, assess future market trends and define investment strategies and/or business models to leverage partner market opportunities.? Generate financial models and business cases to support new opportunities.? Lead cross-company execution by working with multiple cross-functional teams and geographies (including sales, marketing, services, product management, finance) to ensure successful partnership relationships the drive Lenovo revenue growth.? Understand and articulate partner feedback, provide proper resolution of business and technical obstacles, and provide insightful feedback to respective Lenovo teams to improve the overall user experience.? Develop, analyze, and report on key milestones/metrics, summarizing partner support data. Utilize data to proactively enhance existing processes and develop a new framework to improve internal performance, partner experience and new product adoption.? Collaborate on the development of Lenovo's Smart Office market strategy and solutions; promote internal and external awareness of the Workplace Transformation/Collaboration marketplace as a strategic industry segment for Lenovo.? Deliver Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to customers, Lenovo sales & marketing teams, on both technology trends & products.
Position Requirements
7 years of Business Development/Partner Management or closely related experience in the Commercial AV/Network/IT marketplace? Understand key ISVs relationships that drive the Workplace Transformation marketplace. ? Understand Workplace Transformation solutions and their practical application/ contribution to customers' requirements.? Extensive network of industry executive contacts within the Commercial AV/Network/IT marketplace and partner segments.? Possess excellent analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills? Ability to influence decision makers at all levels in the organization and in a matrix-environment? Demonstrated ability to summarize complex data into executive-level action oriented information? Strong communication, presentation and persuasion skills.? Ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel.? A BA/BS degree and an MBA or equivalent industry experience preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
