Primary responsibility is to serve as technical sales lead and customer consultant for McKesson?s laboratory intelligence products and services for clients.?


.? Support the field sales force in sales in small hospitals, physician office laboratories, medical reference laboratories.? Provide detailed consultation with customers to determine how laboratory intelligence solutions can help customers improve outcomes.


????????? Achieve sales targets by actively engaging with field sales force and customers in selling laboratory intelligence solutions.? Manage and support the technical sales process; advise customers of solutions given need, conduct demonstrations, generate quotations and close capital sales.


????????? Develop and manage a business plan within territory; account profiling, forecasting, lead generation, growth initiatives, time and expense management.? Provide supervisor with activity reporting and updates as required.?


????????? Engage sales force to build a relationship and educate on laboratory intelligence solutions, market trends and customer targets.? Attend meetings, training events, ride with reps and execute through other educational pathways to maximize selling opportunities.


????????? Study customer dynamics, needs and trends, market trends, technical product applications, and competition to position products and solutions with maximum value

????????? Engage with internal teams to assist, as required, with implementation and after-market sales activities

Qualification:


Minimum Job Qualifications

2+ years technical product sales experience

?

Critical Skills

Previous experience in outside sales of IT products

High energy and a strong work ethic

Ability to plan and organize daily activities

Ability to manage multiple client engagements

Strong communication skills

Goal oriented attitude and a desire to lead

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of clinical laboratory workflow

High level knowledge of and experience in sales of medical laboratory diagnostic equipment and consumables.?

High level knowledge of laboratory information systems and electronic medical record systems

Capital equipment sales experience with a large clinical diagnostic company known for strong capital sales training

Education

Professional degree in area of expertise. Advanced degree may be preferred in some assignments.

Physical Requirements

Field based position working out of home office with a travel requirement of up to 75%

Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
