Additional information about transcripts is in this document. To qualify at the GS-13 level you must have one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as:
Providing policy guidance for organizational practices and procedures; Developing policies and procedures for complex programs; Advising high level management on optimizing work processes and staffing requirements; Administering a variety of management programs such as safety or personnel administration; and Supervising a process management or quality assurance program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
