Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes Supervising law enforcement work, maintaining law and order. Protecting life, property, and the civil rights of individuals; Prevent, detect, and investigate violations of laws, rules, and regulations involving accidents, crimes, and misconduct involving misdemeanors and felonies; Arrest violators, assist in the prosecution of criminals, and serve as a source of assistance to persons in emergency situations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
