Senior Program Manager - Global Programs
Amazon's Workforce Staffing (WFS) Program Management Team is looking for a highly motivated and flexible Program Manager.
The role is responsible for building relationships across teams and organizations, identifying areas for improvement in operations, designing complex processes and developing solutions that span multiple teams, and generally working to improve WFS global operations.
A successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional ability to influence others, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for using data, process design and technology to improve business operations.
You are self-motivated, solutions-oriented, able to build relationships quickly, comfortable with ambiguity, able to understand highly complex systems, and innovative in developing simple and scalable solutions.
You must be able to:
Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to understand and improve large-scale programs and initiatives Balance the priorities of numerous stakeholders and negotiate solutions and get buy in from numerous teams with varying interests Have a rigorous approach to problem solving and analytics, as well as produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data Understand, create, analyze and improve process maps and process flows, while having the ability to understand and communicate how tasks and processes fit into the bigger picture Lead others to drive ongoing program improvements based on user feedback and performance measurements Provide leadership, expertise, and technical/operational guidance to the stakeholders and field teams Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, as well as balance business needs versus constraints Be comfortable presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders, receptive of feedback and quick to apply changes Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion Have a combination of practical and intellectual skills, as well as ability to rapidly shift and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex root cause analyses, hands-on projects, and project management.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop process maps and mental models for both new and existing processes Work with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points and get buy in on any proposed solutions Understanding complex, multi-org end-to-end processes and being able to effectively explain how each team fits into the process Building and maintaining relationships with members of many different teams and organizations across the world and understanding what each team is responsible for Deep dive operational metrics and interview across teams and organizations to identify areas of opportunity Develop recommendations for solutions to existing processes to improve performance, increase scalability and eliminate defects Creating and executing internal communications for rhythm of business messages, as well as driving employee engagement and awareness for process and program changes across all impacted orgs Responsible for mechanizing and continually evaluating program initiatives for quality, business impact, and scalability.
Conduct post-implementation evaluations to understand successes and improvement opportunities for the designed solution.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
