About the Role:
Maybe they call you a Site Reliability, DevOps, or DevTools engineer.
Whatever your title, if you write code to maintain infrastructure platforms in the cloud, we want to talk to you.
We're looking for someone who embodies customer obsession and technical leadership, and who wants to build next-generation cloud infrastructure platforms and developer tools at Twitch.
You'll assess Twitch platforms for business differentiating features and focus on optimizing services to provide maximum value.
You'll mentor other engineers within and outside of your team, leveling up technical and soft skills.
You will help guide the technical roadmap for your team and identify new opportunities for technical investment.
You will plan large-scale initiatives with product owners and engineering management.
You will report to the Director of Infrastructure Platform, working primarily with the AWS Infrastructure Platform team.
You Will:
Operate critical third-party infrastructure and builder tools like GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, TeamCity, LDAP, and VPN in a highly available fashion Maintain and evolve Twitch's AWS infrastructure and CI/CD platforms and strategic roadmaps Partner with development teams to provide deployment automation best practice guidance Level up Twitch's cloud capabilities by continually learning about AWS products.
Identify opportunities to solve broad problems with AWS product features, or to contribute feature requests to AWS product roadmaps in support of Twitch development teams.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
