AWS Regional Sales Manager, Higher Education

Are you ready to lead a growing Higher Education sales team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services within Enterprise accounts within the State of California to include both Public and Private institutions and Community Colleges?As a Sales leader within Higher Education, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of the Higher Education market.
Your responsibilities will include identifying innovative ways to improve outcomes for customers, driving revenue and adoption and helping refine the AWS strategy within the Higher Education Enterprise segment.
Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on revenue, implementing solutions that work, creating key partnerships for scale, developing the Higher Education ecosystem, and building momentum in the market.
You will possess a technology sales management background that enables them to lead a team of senior sale representatives with engagements with channel partners and CXO level customers.
You will be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute a geographic plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets while also being a strategic thinker.

Responsibilities:
Lead a high performing sales team focused on delivering cloud services and solutions Create a clear partner and Professional Services strategy demonstrating the ability to scale reach and drive adoption and great customer experiences Develop the Higher Education ecosystem and align strategy with the Amazon Partner Network (APN) team Align closely and collaborate with other Education leaders to devleop breakthrough ideas Coach and develop your sales team to make them successful Meet or exceed revenue targets Develop and execute a comprehensive Enterprise plan Accelerate customer adoption Maintain a robust sales pipeline Manage contract negotiations Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts Expect moderate travelHere at AWS, we embrace our differences.
